Gas Fire

I would like to congratulate Lawn Heat & Leisure Ltd on the great Rinnai Symmetry RDV3610 gas fire. We have had it installed in our new home and are amazed at how quietly it runs. We have had a gas fire before but this one is so much quieter and efficient, and also so very realistic. In fact, visitors would not believe that this was not a standard wood fireplace. They had to watch me 'light' it from the wall mounted control to believe it was gas, even the logs are so realistic, down to the charcoal marks and borer holes.

The unit comes on for around 20/30 minutes, raising the room temperature from 17/18c to 21/22c in that time, and remains off for around an hour or more.

As seen on the plan the room is actually three rooms....Lounge, Family/Dining and Kitchen, mostly open plan with large double doors opening into the Lounge.

We have no hesitation in recommending this unit, no it is not cheap, but you pay for what you get and currently this is the Rolls Royce model and worth every dollar.

Energy cost wise we have had no increase in our energy bill (power and gas), in fact it is cheaper than the same time last year.

Wood Fire

On recommendation from family members who had dealt with Lawn Heat & Leisure we called into your Pakuranga showroom looking to purchase and install a Masport freestanding wood fire, we were amazed at the amount of different models, size and quality of your showroom display.

The salesman in the showroom spent a great deal of time advising us of different models available and council requirements needed to install the fire and was very helpful and patient with us.

We would like to thank the staff for the advise, knowledge and assistance given to us from purchase right through to installation it has been a pleasure dealing with the staff and installation crew we are very happy with our purchase and would very much recommend to others to use Lawn Heat & Leisure Ltd and thanks again for a top quality job.

Gas Fire

Not often in this day and age do people take time out to write and compliment businesses and staff for a job well done, we recently purchased a Rinnai gas fireplace and installation from your company right from the showroom to quotation and installation you instilled confidence in what you people do and know about your products.

We were very unsure about spending the amount of money on the particular Rinnai fire we were advised on and finally chose, you helped us with supplying the builder to construct the wall for the fireplace the only thing we had to do was paint it this alone was a huge help as we did not know where to start.

When we visited and booked a quotation in the showroom on our first visit the consultant did say that Lawn Heat & Leisure prided itself on being truly a 1 stop shop from A to Z which is very true, we love the fireplace and wish we had done it 10 years ago and don’t regret at all what we spent, it really is a focal point in our home which we now sit in and use an area that has been redundant for many years our cat is very keen on it too.

Wood Fire

We approached a couple of fireplace suppliers and weren’t really confident that the representatives sent to view our situation fully understood what we required.

It was at this point I visited James at Lawn and Heat in Pakuranga. James contacted his fireplace expert Bob who visited our property and made his recommendation in consultation with us.

We received a quote from Bob within a couple of days of his visit.

Once we decided to proceed, the fireplace was ordered, the permit was applied for on our behalf and installation was scheduled for as soon as the weather was okay and the council had issued the permit.

Bob's team of two installers arrived bang on time and completed the installation within a matter of a few hours.

Our job was by no means an easy one because our section slopes steeply and the chimney installation required an extended flue kit and some customised components due to the height of our building.

The installers appeared to be "proper tradesmen" who were able to customise the flue unit to suit our requirements on the spot.

We are very happy with the performance of our fire place and our dealings with the team at Lawn and Heat.

We find cold winter nights much easier to deal with than they were before.
